Math:
- We will be doing a cooky monster subtraction activity.
- Draw a cookie monster with a big mouth. The cookies inside his mouth are the ones he will eat and the ones outside are what you have left.
- Write the subtraction sentence under or over your picture.
- Make sure you start with a group of 5 or less.
Send a picture to your teacher through ClassDojo or text.
Objective: By the end of this unit the student should be able to represent subtractions using objects, drawings, or mental images.
