Thursday Activities

*This week we will be learning all about the number 14 Math and we will be doing some animal workouts for PE.*

Math:


Directions: Watch the two videos with your
child. 

  1. Print or make your own worksheet. 
  2. Draw two 10 frames one on top of the other. 
  3. Under the ten frames make some addition lines where your child can show how to add to 10.

Objective: Students will compose and decompose numbers from 11-19 into tens ones and further ones by using objects or drawings.

Wednesday Activities

*This week we will be learning all about animals that live in the jungle for social studies as well as learning about the sight word here.*

Language Arts: 

(you can do more than one sight word)
Directions: Watch the two videos with your child. 
  1. On a white piece of paper write the word here leaving some room between the letters. You can do more sight words to review them. 
  2. Cut each letter out and hide them around your house. 
  3. Include extra letters if you are just doing the sight word here. 
  4. Have your child look for the letters to form the word here and put them in order. 
Please send a picture to your teacher of your completed work. 


Objective: By the end of the week the student will be able to recognize the sight word here.

Directions: Watch the two videos with your
child. 

  1. Find 14 toys. 
  2. Write the number 14 and place it under your toys.

Objective: By the end of this unit the student should be able to represent subtractions using objects, drawings, or mental images.

Directions: Watch the two videos with your child. 
  1. First, review the words that start with the letter Y from the video. 
  2. Print worksheet or on a white paper draw a bubble map with the letter y in the middle, as seen in the picture. 
  3. On the outside bubbles, draw things that start with the letter y.
