Math:
(You can print the worksheet or make your own.) |
- Print out the worksheet or make your own.
- Color the worksheet and cut the monkeys out.
- Glue some monkeys on the bed and some on the floor.
- Write a subtraction sentence under the worksheet or your drawing.
Send a picture to your teacher through ClassDojo or text.
Objective: By the end of this unit the student should be able to represent subtractions using objects, drawings, or mental images.
Science:
(You can use balloons, bags, gloves, etc) |
- Use 3 balloons, gloves, or bags for this experiment.
- Fill the first object with water.
- Fill the second one with air.
- Fill the third object with water and put it in the freezer.
- Once the third object is frozen, ask your child which state of matter they thing each object belongs to.
Make sure to send a picture to your teacher when you are done.
Objective: Students will be able to use their observation skills to describe the three states of matter.
