*This week we will be learning all about animals that live in the ocean for social studies as well as learning about the letter Qq for language arts. *

Language Arts: 

Directions: Watch the two videos with your child. 

1. First, review the words that start with the letter Q from the video. 
2. Print worksheet or on a white paper draw a circle map with the letter q in the middle, as seen in the picture. 
3. On the second circle, draw things that start with the letter Q.

Objective: By the end of the week the student will be able to differentiate the lowercase and uppercase letter Qq.

Social Studies :

Directions: Hear the story Memoirs of a Goldfish with your child. 

1. Print out the worksheet or write and draw your own.
2. Use a paper plate or trace a large circle on a white paper.
3. Cut a small section of the paper plate or the circle to use as the bottom of our fishbowl. 
4. Color the fishbowl then have your child write the parts of a fish on a paper and cut them out. 
5. Glue the fish to your colored fishbowl and add the labels.
