Wednesday Activity

*This week we will be learning all about farm animals for social studies. For Language Arts, we will learn about the sight words little.*

Language Arts:

Directions: Watch the two videos with your child. On a white piece of paper write the sight word little with a marker. Use anything from beans, pasta, cereal, paint etc. to glue over the word you wrote.

Take a picture of your work and send it to your teacher on Classdojo or email.

Objective: With this activity, students should be able to read and write common high-frequency words.

Social Studies:

Directions: We will be making some binoculars, so you can go on a wild animal safari at home. Use two toilet paper tubes to create the main part of the binoculars. On a white paper make a design, this will go on the outside to give the binoculars a little more character. Tie some string to the tubes and you have yourself some binoculars. If you want to play wild animal safari, draw some animals that live in the savanna and hide them around your house. Go around with your binoculars and camera from Monday to catch them.

Take a picture of your mask and send it to your teacher on Classdojo or email.

Objective: By the end of the week students will be able to share their thoughts about people, places, things, and events.
