Language Arts:
Directions: This week we will be learning about words that start with the letter Ww.
- Watch the letter Ww and alphabet song with your child.
- Then create a treemap like the one on the picture.
- Make 3 boxes under each letter and have your child draw things that start with each letter.
- Write the letter G or W next to each picture. You can write the word for each picture under it.
Please send a picture to your teacher through Classdojo or email when you are done.
Objective: By the end of the week the student will be able to differentiate the lowercase and uppercase letter Ww.
Social Studies :
Directions: This week we will be learning more about
animals from the African Savanna and their diets.
Objective: By the end of the week students will be able to share their thoughts about people, places, things, and events.
Student work:

- Watch the video on animal diets with your child.
- On a piece of paper create a Venn diagram. Using a large circle. Trace around it making sure the two circles overlap in the middle.
- Label each section with one of the types of diets, Herbivores, Omnivores, Carnivores.
- Make drawings of the different types of animals that fit each diet.
