*This week we will be learning all about farm animals for social studies. For Language Arts, we will learn about the sight words said and review the sight word said.*
- Create two tic tac toe grids.
- Have your child write the sight words little and said in random boxes.
- Use two different counters to play.
- Your child needs to say the word they want to place the counter on.
Take a picture of your work and send it to your teacher on Classdojo or email.
Objective: With this activity, students should be able to read and write common high-frequency words.
Social Studies:
- Divide a piece of paper in two.
- Leave a some drawing-room on the top for your child to draw their favorite animal.
- Make some writing lines on the bottom half.
- You can visit NatGeokids.com to research your animal or search online, with parental supervision.
- After you learn more about your animal, write two facts on your paper.
- This will become your first research paper.
Take a picture of your mask and send it to your teacher on Classdojo or email.
Objective: By the end of the week students will be able to share their thoughts about people, places, things, and events.
